How to Assemble Plaque Standoffs (Without Wanting to Throw Them Across the Room)
Let’s be honest—standoffs can feel like tiny pieces of chaos if you’ve never used them before. But once you know the trick, they’re actually super simple.
What You’ll Need:
- Your plaque (wood + acrylic layers)
- Standoff hardware (caps, screws, anchors)
- Screwdriver
- Level (optional but helpful)
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Mark Your Placement
Hold your plaque up and mark where each standoff will go.
2. Install Wall Anchors (if needed)
If you're mounting into drywall, use anchors for a secure hold.
3. Attach the Base Screws
Screw the base portion of the standoff into the wall.
4. Align Your Plaque
Carefully place the plaque holes over the mounted bases.
5. Secure the Caps
Screw on the decorative caps to lock everything into place.
